The Being that was Once a Fisherman
8" x 8" Print
watercolor, gouache, origami paper, gold leaf
You see an old man resting peacefully on a log. When you approach, he does not only speak to you. No, when he speaks, he speaks to all the lives that your soul was before. To the lives it has yet to live. He tells you of his previous life, before he entered EchoHill. He was a fishermen. “It wasn’t always easy.” He says. He laughs, and you feel his distaste of fish shiver up your body. YUCK! “I know, I know, but I did love my family,” he continues,”and fishing was steady business!” You give him an offering of honey and continue on your way, happy to have made a new friend.
