The old woman had loved the woods since she was a little girl, and she knew of the wonders and the dangers and the secrets that it held. When she built her home there, she had to adapt. For example, the hedgeburrows had relentlessly attacked her home, until she learned their favorite food is blueberries. These days she has gotten into the habit of baking two pies, one for herself, and one for them. This is home.
