EchoHill

Personal Work, 2020

Playing in the woods and touching nature with my bare hands has always been a source of great joy for me. In addition to the plants and animals that were truly there, I would imagine little creatures in the moss and beasts peaking at me through the foliage. Though I’ve grown, I bring the same playfulness into my artwork now.

EchoHill is a location of my own creation, though you’ll find similarities to the woods I explored as a child. It has been brought to life through collaged watercolor illustrations and short stories. Echohill’s residents are characters and creatures that are just waiting to be discovered by those that are curious. My work explores themes of connection, karma, and mortality through the whimsical world of Echohill.
