Hello!
I'm Katelyn Rieder, a freelance illustrator based in Austin, TX.
My illustrations focus on telling stories. They often depict travelers from different walks of life that are in the midst of a personal journey. They may run across creatures, spirits, or dabble in magic themselves.
Many of my fantasy illustrations are created traditionally with watercolor, gouache, and collaged origami paper.
I graduated with a BFA in Illustration and minor in entrepreneurship from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
I now call Austin, TX home and have been an active part of the art community participating in art shows, vending events, and teaching painting classes.
I'm always looking for new projects and creative opportunities so please contact me at marotzke.illustration@gmail.com.
